macOS What I learned today - block/rectangular select in Text Editors

After years of using TextPad in Windows for work (almost solely for the block select feature and it's RegExp Find/Replace) I stumbled across an 8 year old post on MacOSXTips for how to do this in OS X. In any text editor. Just by holding "option". 😱
