What I think Apple's new Pro look should be

This is not going to be as impressive as the title of the post may sound, but if you look at this picture

I know it's just the lighting, but see how the upper right corner of the MBP is kind of a darker aluminum? I think it would be cool if they made the entire case out of that color metal. Sort of like a carbon / charcoal color. And I mean for this to be the MP case but I am just using the MBP picture as an example.
 
I think that's just the photo. The photos here:

show the same tone aluminum finish as before.

But yes, a darker aluminum or anthracite finish would be cool. I think we're going to see a more radical design change with the next Mac Pro iteration than just a change in finish. I just hope they keep to the steely modernist feel of the current MP, rather than reverting to the plastic bubblegum look of the G4, which reminded me of an 80's Swatch.
 
I won't be happy until they have an invisible case. No, not clear, invisible. I just want the innards to be floating 3 inches above the top of my desk.
 
I'd like the case to be made of glass, and come with water and fish inside.

I'd also like to have Apple pay the shipping, because it's going to be more than 100 pounds.

copied it to a new layer, changed the blending option to 'difference' dropped the fill down to under 40%. duplicated the layer, adjusted the levels changed the blending option to something else and adjusted the opacity, lightly erased some of the bottom because it was too dark, and finished it off by deleting the inside area of the two upper layers.
 
I want them to bring back the plexiglass secondary door behind the main side door of the case like they had on the G5's.

Really brings out the Pro's blues and blacks. I like it.

However, I think we need to take a step back. We really had something going for a while with Panther. Remember when Apple was introducing Panther? All new black, official box. Lots of fuss. I say we return to that.. but with a twist.

And when is your best estimate of "when they will be going" for this black :apple: look on the Mac Pros. Inquiring minds want to know.🙂
