-No Steve Jobs presenting (but it would be cool if they brought him in with a FaceTime call or more likely an iMessage conversation)
-Assistant feature debuts ("Let's Talk iPhone" hinting at this)
-Tim Cook talks very briefly (just the introduction and other small parts of the keynote- here and there)- mostly just the retail stores and profits summary
-The (1) could be hinting at the "One more thing..." ending

3 Ways I See the Keynote Going (assuming there is a "One more thing..."):
1. -iPhone 4S is announced
- Assistant feature debuts
- Talk about iOS 5
- Possibly White iPod Touch
One more thing... iPhone 5

2. -iPhone 4S (or iPhone 5) is announced
-Talk about iOS 5 (possibly Assistant feature)
One more thing... White iPod Touch + Minor iPods Refresh

3. -iPhone 4S (or iPhone 5) is announced
-Talk about iOS 5 (mostly just a summary of things already announced in June)
-Possibly Minor iPods Refresh
One more thing... Assistant Feature

Can't wait until Tuesday! :apple:

Let me know what YOU think of my theories!

I actually think the "1 more thing" left with Jobs. That's not to say, however, that Cook doesn't have a trick of his own up his sleeve.

what I think will happen on tues..

hey guys, first of all thanks for welcoming me to the forum i am such a apple fanatic and and this forum is just feeding me with more apple.

anyway, well there is a new ceo of apple and people are telling me, "reece it will only be a 4s so stop getting your hopes up". but why would they release a small update with a brand new ceo and plus it is his first conference I really think they will release something quite big with the new ceo.

tell me what you think, do you agree ?

:apple:

Personally I would love to see the "One more thing" come up on screen and Steve makes an appearance and announce the next iPhone.

I doubt we will see Steve again on stage at a keynote.
For there to be a smooth handover the spotlight needs to move on

Yes, totally agree.
It has been a longer product cycle than usual.

They are lining up sales for Christmas and the next year - this really should be a big release

Now that I think about it.

Like I said,
Now that I think about it, you're totally right. If they don't bring out a new one people might loose interest and move to a android device that has features that the iPhone 5 should have.

I just really hope they bring something crazy and new to the table, that hasnt been leaked.
A total surprise and something which will really blow the competition away

yeah totally agree, this should be one of there biggest products. (hoping anyway)

what i have in mind, could the '1' mean additional one more model of the iPhone 5? (64GB capacity)?

The "S" in 3GS stood for speed. And even tho the next iPhone will have a A5 and most likely HSPA+, the iPhone 4 is not slow by any means to justify the focus on just speed. The only thing that I can see justifiable as a wow factor is a resign. I see a better chance at a iPhone 5S after the iPhone 5 with LTE.

Im hoping that iOS 5 and 10.7.2 are released and "available now" on the 4th after the keynote.

It's been a long wait.

What is so great with a white iPod touch?

Apple will probably announce iPod touch with upgraded specs (hopefully) and announce that it will come in black and white editions.

I don't think iPhone 5 would really be a "One more thing" type of... thing. It would be pretty major, probably the most important thing of the day.

Exactly which is why you save the best thing for last. The lasting impression you leave slays all.
