Hello everyone, this is the first time I've signed up for a different technology forum than my own language. I hope I have a good time.

This question has been on my mind for a long time: What If Apple Puts The M1 Chip In The iPhone 14 Pro's?

The odds of doing this are very, very low; I know. But let's assume.

If it does, it will just add it to the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. Moreover, this will take the already unrivaled iPhone to a much higher level. The duration of the 5-6 year software support that Apple normally gives will increase. The devices will be almost - literally - the pocket size of the Macbook Air. -they already are now-

Of course, this will strengthen the functions of the iPhone, especially the camera.

So what do your think? Does such a thing happen? Or not need?

This has been briefly discussed in some other threads, but an M1 chip in an iphone would generate so much heat because of the smaller chassis, that it would perform worse than an equivalent A series Bionic chip due to throttling, and also use a lot of battery power. The M chips are desktop grade chips designed to be used in Tablets and Laptops, not iphones.

Well the M1 is based on the A14

So if you have an iPhone 12 series phone you can experience what its like right now

I don't think it will get M series.. as you know m1 chip requires a lot of space.. and even the biggest iphone 13/14 Pro Max overall body is wayy to small.. the recommended minimum size of m1 on such device should be at least DOUBLED the size of Phone body a minimum of 35 square inch and or better a recommended of 53 square inch and above (Like the iPads or Mac). while the 14 pro max is just 6.3 inch long by 3 inch wide? And its total size is barely 19 square inch.. and i dont think the m1 will even fit inside the iPhone chassis as long as its small 4300 mah battery.. . And even if m1 successfully squeeze inside the iPhone it would act like core or overheat making the battery life and performance even worse than a14

Terrible idea. The iPhone gets hot already and lowers screen brightness to help manage heat.

You should know that the M1 was built around the A series chip. So the A series is an M1 anyway... It's just a very light version of the M1. As the phone has a smaller battery the A series chip is already fast enough an M1 series chip would be a waste of power as most wouldn't utilize it properly. It's not like you have screen real estate to have 50 tabs and multiple programs running on a 7 inch screen. It's not practical yet.
