So if I install Windows 10 via Bootcamp while I have macOS Catalina installed on my MBP then for some reason in the future I wanted to format the macOS Catalina Partition and install Catalina again from a fresh start. Is that possible without losing the Windows installation? Like does bootcamp create a separate partition for Windows 10 or how does this work? what about the fear of messing up the boot records which would usually give me an option to load macOS or Windows?

Total n00b to this here I've never installed Windows via Bootcamp before.
