In my street there's a SSID called "**** off trying to steal my internet"

Dunno why they just don't put a password in it.

There is one in my apartment complex that is Jesus loves. If anyone who lives in MN drive through downtown minneapolis there are dozens of id's and some are out there.

I love to see stock SSID's because that means someone is just asking for you to jack their network. I'm a Network and Hardware Security engineer for my company and I like to find networks to see what I can get then help the people out and show them how to secure there networks.

Looks like the neighbors were having an SSID fight.

At my old apartment complex I used to get "Jesus." My father-in-law loved that one because when he was having trouble connecting to my wireless network (apartments are great for tons of interference even on a lone channel) he would "connect to Jesus!"

I saw ones when I was on holiday called:

"F**k off"
"Don't steal our wi-fi"
and
"Free porn"

They were all password protected.

My neighbours had wi-fi with their address as the SSID and it was unsecured. How dumb can you get?
