What iOS version did launch day iPhone X's ship with?

I'm trying to find out if I can restore from a backup of my iOS 11.0.3 iPhone 7, or if I should update both iPhones to iOS 11.1. (I think to update iPhone X to iOS 11.1, I will have to first set it up as a new iPhone)

My 6s Plus was on 11.1. When I attempted to restore my X from my most recent backup, it prompted me to update the X to 11.1. Worked perfectly.

Mine was 11.0.1 as well.

11.0.1 for me as well. Updated to 11.1 then did a reset.
