I'm surprised by how many iPads 3 users there are. I guess this means the iPad mini retina is going to sell through the roof

My white 64GB iPad 3 LTE is serving me just fine. I got the LTE because I wanted to test out Verizon's LTE network. I guess the GPS integrated was worth the cost with tethering from my iPhone 5. The retina display on this tablet is simply amazing. My version of the iPad 3 is just not worth selling since I would lose so much money. I guess I may replace it when AC+ expires.

iPad mini user here.

Planning to keep it for at least two years btw. ONLY if new iPad mini has retina AND weights the same or less, I might consider switching. Otherwise this is good until it turns into a brick :)

iPad mini and I don't regret it. It's my first iPad, mainly cause I couldn't justify dropping $500+ in the past for one. It's serving me quite well and I will be keeping it for a while, at least until the eventual Retina mini comes out (you know it will).

haha Darling wife^^ :D
Love this word, sounds so french tho :)

French? It's actually English. Perhaps just the romantic notion of the word got you wrapped up with the French connection! It is the language of love... And fries!!!

And I can't wait to get the next iPad.

I have a iPad 2, I never used anymore after I moved to an iPad 3.

Then the iPad mini came, out and the iPad 3 has been retired.

16 GB mini gets the most use. It's the most convenient, and for me cheap enough to not really worry what happens to it.

Ipad Mini 16Gb black with Wifi & 3G - bought for (ab)use while traveling overland

iPad 2 for me

iPad 2 32GB WiFi here. Find it still really great. My Mrs just got the iPad 4 and the retina dismay is brilliant but I don't miss it at the moment.

I don't really understand the mini myself but I use my iPad for surfing late night and playing games and I find it really portable on the train too but everyone has different needs.

In my experience the 2 and 3 are the same performance wise but the 3 runs hotter and has a retina display. I imagine the mini retina will be on par for performance with the original mini but have retina and also run hotter. People seem to favor retina screens. It's just my assumption but I am going to make a wild guess that the mini retina is a huge success.

Wifey has a iPad 2 64GB White and i have a iPad 3 64GB Black.
I much prefer the iPad 2's weight and feel in the hand. So looking forward to the iPad (5) refresh this year.
I'm thinking about the iPad mini for our children because they are quiet fond of mummy and daddys iPad's (only on the weekends)

How can you tell the weight difference? I sure cant.

My partner uses the iPad mini and I use the iPad 4, both are pretty perfect for what we do. I do tend to go for the iPad mini more when I'm laying in bed or on the couch. It often makes me wonder if I should have went with the mini as well.

iPad 3 with cellular, love not having to pay for wifi when going to hotels. Brother just got an iPad mini and i'm astonished at how light and thin it is, I may make the switch when it goes retina.

The screen is my biggest gripe. The price and size is the only reason why I'm living with it. Next year I'm getting the retina mini no question. At least 1gb of ram would be nice too.
