Speck presidio grip, glitter skins, apple silicone case (if you have greasy fingers use alcohol on it every 2-3days)

I'm looking for a case with the best possible grip. I don't want the device to slip through my clumsy hands (which already happened in the past) or when the device sits on a slippery table at work and pushed - I don't want it to slide off the table.

Any suggestion for a case with a very good grip?

Seems really good, I'm going to give it a try!

a bit biased, but the SoftGrip case is the thinnest, grippiest case IMO...

I can vouch for the Presidio Grip, had one on my 7 Plus for quite a few months. Very robust and extremely grippy. I've switched to an official Apple sillicone case, though, for better aesthetics and because the Presidio added a little too much bulk for my taste.

Until the rubber starts to flake.

Yes. This is an issue. Didn't have my Presidio Grip for long and the rubber was coming off on the back. Also the 'scratch resistant' plastic had strange rub marks (and scratches) which made it even more ugly. But it's a great case and I felt like it probably would survive quite a harsh fall, which is the point I guess.

I've got the Otter Commuter case on iPhone 7. Reasonably grippy bumper and the rim prevents sliding when sitting on a desk.
