I'm tired of misplacing my black iPhone 5, so I'm definitely going white or the gold... I really don't think the gold looks very nice though, so I'm thinking white will suffice.

Why do people regret getting silver in the past?
For me, I didn't fully appreciate how distracting white bezels are when reading / watching things. White phones also get grubby and dirty quite easily because it's not as visually obvious when they need a good wipe.

What else were you expecting?
[doublepost=1503142443][/doublepost]Very likely (90%+) to go for black due to how seamlessly everything will blend together and overall how clean looking it is. I will consider the copper color only if the face is black, and if it has a darker tone in direct sunlight rather than lighter. It's hard to tell from pictures so far.

Hated rose gold.

White honestly looks very nice/clean looking this year as well. Much prefer white glass to the silver metal backs of the last few years. Still don't like the white over black though.
Cobalt Blue and Red is what I was hoping for. Rumors (yes, rumor) point to a ceramic white iPhone 8 after the release as the 10th Anniversary iPhone 8.

That dark blue rumor was for the Jet black iPhone 7. They couldn't quite tell if it was blue or black from leaked pictures, so the rumor was that it might be a navy blue. Red was a one-off to boost iPhone 7 sales (which worked). The color was gorgeous, but they definitely won't be going against the more neutral color pallet unless they do another special edition product red again in the spring, but that's not a launch color.

I think the red looked better on the 7 (aluminum) than it would on glass anyway.

Ceramic definitely could be a thing. I would have thought they could have done it this year with the 8, as a more exclusive phone/edition. However they are doing the 7S in glass as well, so it doesn't work out.

I've been getting white faced iPhone for the past 2 years so I think its time to go back to black. Getting bored with white.
