Was trying to find a good Synthesizer program for the Mac. Just learning and wondering if there was a good program to practice with.

What is a good Synthesizer program for mac?

GarageBand probably is a decent place to start - especially since it's included with iLife. It'll work with external MIDI keyboards and you can customize the instruments, add filters, etc.
If you get more serious, there are several stand-alone synths - some are synths in their own right, others are sampled or recreations of classic synths - such as a Mellotron, Moog, etc..

You can use the built in instruments in Garageband with an external midi device or the onscreen keyboard it has.
