What is Apple saying about Verizon ? (sim replacements)

Still no word from Apple about Verizon refusing to provide replacement sim cards (prepaid) via their official channels?

Then why is Apple still selling Verizon iPads ?

Makes no sense. I did get extra sim cards from eBay...will last me two yrs but what others do & what do I do when I need more?

Speak up, Apple!
