Hi,

what exactly is button 4-setting in the Mighty Mouse settings in Tiger and how can it be configurated.

Thanks in advance - Christoph

The fourth is the side "buttons". You squeeze the sides. Settings for it are in System Preferences > Keyboard & Mouse > Mouse.

thank you very much for your reply - but I already know that where I can make the settings... the settings itself are the question. There is a possibility to set the side-buttons as "Button 4" in the mouse-systempreferences. What is it for and where can I specify what "Button 4" should do beside the listed possibilities. For example I would like to include a keystroke Appl-w for closing the foremost window but don´t see a way with the internal driver...

I see now. Button 4 would be application specific, and I haven't seen any info on which applications might use it. For instance, "Button 3" in Safari, will open a link in a new tab.

Hopefully, someone else will have more info on this. It probably requires 3rd party software, though.
