There's a feature on the Internet called "search". If you type in "Phil Schiller deep fusion" several pages come up that explain what it is. Try it.

You are an idiot. Phil Schiller said nothing about what it does. Just that it is amazing and will blow your mind. The tech blogs all went on about how it was enhanced night mode, but the presentation said nothing about the level of light in the video. He didn’t really even explain how the picture was better other than more detail, and there was no with / without to give you a sense of what is going on. No comment on how it is used, if it is enabled by default, etc.
 
Actually Apple is using BS marketing terms more way more than any other company. Only Apple can say that they use "liquid retina display" (also known as LCD for everyone else).

I'll be the first to admit that their marketing terms are total cringe. That being said, they could call something "hypersonic large hadron super-duper ultra-flux level 9000 amaze-balls ethereal superposition mega-display" and as long as it looks cool I don't really care what they call it.
