Hello guys (and gals)...I am getting ready to list my iPhone 6S for sale and I have to choose in the item description between "T-Mobile" and "Unlocked".

The phone was originally purchased (by me) from Apple's web site and I selected the "T-Mobile" option which included the correct SIM card; however, it was my understanding that this version (if not all versions) are technically unlocked and will work with all carriers...am I mistaken?

I am not planning to include the SIM with the sale so the question is, can I list it as "unlocked"?

Thanks!

Yes, I'd list it as carrier unlocked since it is unlocked.
If you list it for Tmobile people will think they can only use it on Tmobile.

Thanks for your reply...I did a bit more research and I have confirmed that as long as the device was purchased for full price at an Apple Store, then it is considered "unlocked" regardless of what SIM was included in the package. Thanks!
