I'm not gonna kill myself. Being free doesn't mean being stupid.

Therefore, i'm gonna do something in my 100 years here on earth.

Why not post here?
Well, enlightenment has lost all of its appeal to me if it means posting here is enlightened. :D

True enlightenment doesn't come from anyone else... not L. Ron, not Ayn, not Jesus, not Buddha. (Although those last two do provide some good advice to follow. And Ayn helps you realize it's OK to be concerned about yourself before being concerned about strangers.)

Someone else shining a light on your problems is not the same as YOU seeing your problems for yourself and doing whatever you need to to solve them.

(And no, I have no idea where this sudden burst of insight came from... some enlightenment of my own, perhaps?)

I love everything as it is. However my identity is still human, and I choose to play my part. I've made this clear.

However, I am too enlightened to argue.

How many people does it take to make war? 1.

Only you can make war. There is only war if you make war.

Therefore, I don't have any reason to convince you guys of anything. If you'd like to discuss it i'd be happy too, but I don't mind if you guys don't understand.

Because posting here is doing something with those 100 years??   I feel like I've wasted half my day....

it's not surprising you are confused.

i would like to announce to all, that i too am enlightened. i didn't realize it at first, but then i became detached from my identity and it came to me.

so, if you have any further questions, feel free to ask, as i would be happy to talk to the lower forms. after all, only 76 years left on my enlightened time here on earth before moving on to bigger and better places.

You're just making it up.

This is all a very strange 15 year old's fantasy, I have not seen as many inconsistent ideals of an individual poster since I've been here. And I've seen plenty of off the wall stuff on these boards.

To the OP, you seem to have some issues you need to work out, if I had to make a very loose observation, I don't think you would be too far off from being schizophrenic. Or you're taking drugs. Either way you should put those books that you're reading down and go see someone.

That is very good advice.

macgeek2005 wanted this final post, and, since it's his thread, I'll allow it (no endorsement implied):

When you are enlightened there is no reason to want anything other than what is.

You want everything you get, and therefore you always get what you want. You don't defend your thoughts, because you don't believe them.

You are living in perfect harmony with the universe.

You guys are talking as if, if you became enlightened, "YOU" would be the enlightened one.

An identity can't be enlightened. That's like saying "Water can't be steam". It can turn into steam, but it's not water anymore, once it's transformed.

You guys are thinking from your mind, not from your spirit. Your mind is telling you all these thoughts. Get outside your mind. Stop believing everything.

If you were enlightened, your conciosness would be OUTSIDE your body right now. You would realise that all there is is one awareness observing everything, and it manifests itself in the chairs and the books and everything that you see.

You keep having an image of "yourself" being enlightened. There is no such thing. An Identity is never enlightened. Only awareness is enlightened.
