    Without more context your question has infinite answers. Most likely Fraction is a class of some sort, but as I said without more details it could be anything.

    I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark and say that your reading the Steve Kochan book, if this is correct then you might visit the the dedicated forum which can be found here http://www.classroomm.com/objective-c/

    There are many Objective-C books. You have to tell us the title, author, and edition (second, third, etc.) of the book you're reading.

    Without telling us exactly what you're doing, all anyone can do is guess. Guessing is a bad way to learn or teach something.

    Haha! Now the mere use of the name is associated with my book. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Most people hate working with fractions. :eek:

    Cheers,

    Steve Kochan

    This thread seems a strange series plot by J J Abrams.

    Probably in a few posts we'll discover we're actually travelling through time :D

    Of course we're all travelling through time. Otherwise no events would actually happen :p

    A series by Abrams involving fractions? Unlikely.

    A series by Taylor involving fractions? Definitely:

    Especially if recently felled timber is present (i.e. natural logs).

    No we're off on a Donnie Darko tangent I see (one of my favorite movies, BTW).

    Ok, time to go back to 1st grade. A fraction is a number that contains a portion of a whole number. Ex. 1/3, 2 3/4, 2/5. In xcode, a fraction could potentially be a class (if you make it), so you would call it like this:
    Code:
    Fraction *myfraction;
