Down south
I have a series 5 - unpaired recently and repaired with my new iPhone 12. When I’m wearing it and want to swipe the face up or down for info, to check battery, etc., it will not swipe. If I restart it, I can, but then after a while, it will act frozen again. It’s not frozen, because I can press the crown and get the apps to pop up, press the power button and get stuff to pop up, etc., but it just will not let me swipe my screen.

Anyone ever had this issue?

The watch is in perfect condition - never had any damage, water exposure, etc. What could be going on?

I think there is some kind of bug. I bought a used S5 a month ago and it did the same to me periodically. It hasn't done it for quite awhile now. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks. I was wondering about that, and checked for updates. I just do NOT want to have to unpair and re-pair the dang thing again. Gosh that’s a pain.

I bought my S5 in the spring, so I’m still under warranty. If it keeps up, I might contact Apple.

Just wanted to say thank you - taking it off zoom seemed to solve the problem. I hope they work that out in a software update.
Thanks for confirming. I assumed it was related to zoom but couldn't get consistent enough recreation results to say with 100% confidence.
