1- My wife had 2 Macbook Air, and 2 cell phones: an iPhone 13 and Samsung A80 (without SIM card) The Samsung her origina phone for years before she recently shifted to iPhone. The Samsung was primarily used for WHATSAPP (on Wifi). It also has an SD card with some general data including her ID.
2- She lost her Samsung a month ago, after which she made some security precautions to her GMAIL and SAMSUNG accounts (logged the phone out, changed pwd, double authentication)
She kept watching the accounts and noticed that the security measures she made are cancelled and reverted back.
3- She had 2 iCloud accounts, with two usernames .. one @gmail.com, and the other @icloud.com
While she was using a THIRD Macbook (mine) logging into her iCloud (I am not sure which account), she noticed an extra icon of Google chrome on iPhone 4 , among other opened apps icons.
I wonder, if there are any iPhone 4s still working in these days? (I had one around 20 years ago)
4- NOW, my question:
In the context of described scenario:
a) For such icon to show, should it be available closely around? or it can be a remote computer ?
b) How could such icon show up in the open apps? two or three iPhones were available around on that day, all iPhone 13 and 14. Only my Wife's was logged into her iCloud.
c) Is it really an iPhone 4? or it's just a name?
d) Is it the accounts hacked? or the machines? or the router?
e) What should we do? ( I heard a lot of advices: Get a new phone / computer .... New phone number .... format your computer .... virus scan your machine and accounts !! ..... etc.)
Thanks for any advice
