Ok so when I want to listen to my music and plug it into my car and play a song it always displays the WRONG song and wrong title.

I tried restoring it and the SAME THING happens :(

Is this happening to anybody else?

Ive tried it on a Mercedes Benz c350 and Mercedes Benz E class

Is never got it to display the correct info.

Sort of makes me wonder how all the different auto makers manage to keep things straight with different devices plus different software versions plus different car models.

Sorry I have the s 500 lol.

Same thing happened on my infiniti G37. I plugged in my friend's 4S which was running 5.1.1 and it was fine... So it may not be a proble with the car but rather the new OS or Phone

Whoo, Toyota!

It happens to me on my Toyota, but ONLY if I'm plugged into the USB port and not using the Music.app to play songs (since it makes you use the dashboard to switch songs, which is just as unsafe as using your phone to change songs (and slower!)). Over BT, if I'm using an app that sends song info to the head unit (Music.app, Pandora), it's all good.

To the OP, how do you have your phone hooked up to your car?

The Mercedes benz charging/audio in plug. I bought the audio option and it came with it.
