Well, I have a rough idea... it's a remote server that hosts your data and "pushes" it to your iOS devices.

I have SL installed on my Macbook, and I just bought the iPhone 4S. While setting up email on my iPhone, I noticed that I have an iCloud account. How does this impact my email?

I used to use a POP3 account on my Macbook, but I have since deleted the account and reconfigured it as IMAP. This way, both my computer and the iPhone will be synced. Is there now some new way of doing email through iCloud? I saw that I have the option of listing it as my primary account, but I don't own an iCloud email account (I thought you had to pay for that service?).

I'm hopelessly confused... my last cell phone didn't even have a text plan, nevermind data. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

P.S. Is it possible to have two exchange accounts enabled, so that I can sync/combine both my personal (gmail) and work calendars? Or will one of them overwrite the other?
