What is it called when a pool player hides their skill?

    Question. When you're playing a game of pool and the person you're playing against is ACTING like they're bad, what is that called. There's a term for it... :confused:

    (Sorry, it's just really bugging me, and Google doesn't answer questions that you don't know how to ask.)

    Hustling is actually not the correct term.

    It's actually "sharking". Being a poolshark is when you intentionally play bad to get the other person to make bets against you.

    Hustling is also correct, it's just not specifically for pool.

    A pool playing shark would be pretty awesome. I'd bet on him.
