I have been seeing in Mac World about Mac Keeper. What is this program does it come on the computer and what does it do? I could not find it on our Mac Book Pro.
There was a someone that wanted to remove it from his computer.
    Thanks,
    Tom

It's malware that claims to "clean up your Mac" or some crap like that, and you should never, ever download it.

Software that you should steer well clear of.

    If you see MacKeeper, run!
It is one of the most noxious applications out there.

There's nothing I hate more than a pop up MacKeeper ad. Completely useless software.

Cleaning it off your system is no fun, really.

Do a spotlight search for MacKeeper on your Mac.

Another good way to know, do you get popup ads when you open a browser? Can be for MacKeeper itself or for other things.

Unless you actually downloaded it and installed it, it isn't on your computer. It doesn't come with OS X.
