So- exciting news, and some sad news. The good news is, I just bought myself a very nice 2010 Mac Mini; however, I need to sell my G5 as a result... at least for me, there's no point in having as many computers as I do right now (the count must be above 10). My Power Mac G5 is the dual processor 2.5 ghz water cooled model with 6 GB of ram and a 1 TB hard drive installed. With it's age and obsolescence in mind, what do you think I could ask for it? I never thought I would have to sell this guy...

It depends on the graphics card, I think you could sell if for 150$-200$

A frequently asked question, which can easiest be answerd by one look at some finished ebay-auctions.

One point on the downside is that your machine is by far the first suspect for leaking liquid cooling systems.

I believe the liquid-cooling system was service by the guy I bought it from back in 2010, and it hasn't been a problem so far.

does this have HDMI and can it airplay?
No, they have DVI graphics cards. DVI uses the same signal as HDMI so it can easily be used with HDMI. AirPlay only works with iTunes on these. If you are looking a desktop, don't go for a PPC based Mac, we are pretty experienced with these and are patient, if you are looking to do work, go with a Mac Pro 1,1

I'd have to say its more of a $60-80 machine. Its 10 years old, its not a quad or a 2.7GHz model, but a decently desirable graphics card. Keep in mind Mac Pro 1,1 systems are selling around $200 pretty easily these days, so there just isn't much reason to buy a G5 unless you're a collector.
