Hi everyone,

I need to know how to find out what is my iMac's EMC number? I'm considering opening it following the tutorials on ifixit.com but therefore I need the correct EMC number. Can anyone help?

If you need the Model Identifier you can find this n System Information/profiler which is in /Applications/Utilities.

Nope, I need an EMC number (a 4-digit number). That's what's needed on the ifixit.com page, so that I can follow the correct tutorial.

If you have an aluminum Intel iMac (2007 or later) it'll be under the base of the monitor on the plate showing your serial number, etc.
