I got this message tonight and I'm not sure what it means and I don't want to allow something to access my keychain that shouldn't...

Thanks!

PubSubAgent is the name of the process used for RSS feeds and syncing them to .Mac/MobileMe. Did you try to sync some bookmarks (in either Mail or Safari) or play with the Keychain Access app?

Here is a similar discussion on Apple's forums.

Before I started the MobileMe trial I had some RSS feeds but just last night I added a bunch of News RSS feeds - so that's probably what caused it

I've started getting the PubSubAgent quit error message also.

  • I can't justify the expense of a MobileMe subscription
  • I do not have dotMac syncing enabled.
  • I am not subscribed to any RSS feeds.
Configuration:
24" 3.06GHz iMac, running OSX 10.5.6 that just installed the latest security update.
Safari 3.2.1
