I was looking at something online at Lowe's a while back, and I wanted to find it again. I wondered if I had bookmarked it, so I opened a private window in Safari, selected "Edit Bookmarks", and typed "lowes" in the search field. I didn't have any bookmarks from Lowe's, but this came up in the search results:

This has nothing to do with Lowe's, and the word "lowes" doesn't appear anywhere in this result. Granted, all the letters appear somewhere, but it seemed pretty random.

I wondered if this was related to Apple's reported upcoming emphasis on advertising, since Lowe's website lists some TP-Link gear. But I dismissed that idea when I found I could remove the "l" and just search "owes" and get the same result.

As I continued removing one letter at a time from "lowes", I got this result when I got to "lows":

This doesn't even have a "w" anywhere! But when I took that out and just search "los", it gave me a list of 8-10 different results that didn't include this one.

Any ideas?

I'm using macOS Tahoe 26.2 with Safari 26.2 (21623.1.14.11.9)
