Convince me why graphite / space gray is a compelling color over silver. Tell me why you like it. Or else.

I bet it looks bad after one year of rocking it caseless

I got the silver and am thinking about exchanging it for the graphite. I had white/silver before, then switched to red the last couple times. The white back of the silver just looks bland to me. You can barely see the Apple logo on it, which would break up the sea of white.

It’s classic iPhone. Whilst they’ve gone through various iterations of black/space grey/graphite, to me, it’ll always be the colour that I associate with the iPhone.

I received my graphite pro yesterday and it’s truly stunning. For the first time ever, I considered stepping away from the graphite and going for the pacific blue but I’m glad I stuck with graphite. It just looks so slick. The pacific blue is gorgeous but it just doesn’t look as good as the graphite IMO.

I also think the graphite will look good no matter what colour case you have on it. You could have a bright pink case and the black camera at the back would still look good. Probably can’t say the same about the pacific blue (or any other colour really)

Totally agree with this. It is spectacular and for sure will go down as one of the best space gray variations. I had the green 11 pro last year and graphite blows it out of the water. It’s also easily one of the best colors when matching with the different Apple silicone cases as well.

I’ve always preferred dark colors on my devices. Ultimately I’ve always covered them up with cases. The Space Gray from the 11pro/Xs/X previously ate very comparable in color, but 11 Pro strengthens it even more with the PVD.

I was on the fence between the Pacific Blue and Graphite. Ended up choosing the graphite and when I went in to pick it up at the Apple Store, I was able to compare all the different Pro colors. I had no regrets about getting the Graphite. The Silver looked very plain to me, the Gold was nice, but the back was very beige in color. The Pacific Blue looked very good, but I think I would get bored with the color after a few months.

The Graphite looks really sharp with the Deep Navy case.

I've been using a silver/white iPhone X (which I still think is the best looking iPhone out there) and went to the Apple store this Friday to buy the 12 pro. I was sure I'd get the white/silver given how much I loved my X but wanted to check out the blue. The back of the white 12 pro is frosted instead of clear glass like on the X and the band being squared off now just makes it look bigger and overly shiny. Overall I thought the 12 pro white/silver looked a bit plasticky/tacky.

I really liked the blue but not so much the stainless steel band on it. Although I didn't expect to like it, the graphite was very slick and had an elegance to it - ended up going with the graphite.

I’ve typically have gone with the graphite/black for all of my phones as I’ve liked the darker color, but this year, I’m switching to the silver 12PM, case-less with a skin (naked series) from Slickwraps. Can’t wait! I need something different in my life. Hopefully, I won’t regret my choice.

It looks great with a black case. I like the all black look, and I do not think the pacific blue looks so great.
