OK I made 2 accounts and then decided to delete the new account I created. When I created the new account, I had about 17.3GB free. Then around 6PM I noticed that I had 1.8GB left!!! Where did it go? I'm not missing any folders because I can find all of them.

PS - The iTunes library got messed up and now all my music is gone (1300 songs). Although they remain in their folders in the iTunes library. I decided to move about 850 songs back into the iTunes (drag-and-drop). It took about 15 minutes to finish COPYING them. Was that what did it? My iTunes library was 14GB in size before today. What do I do? Can I see a graphic of what file or folder is taking up the most space?

This is probably where you're problem is. You most likely now have two copies of each file.

Instead, since all of your files were still in the iTunes Music folder you should have followed these instructions (Help Menu - search for adding files in iTunes Help):

Adding files to your library without copying them to your Music folder
When you import a song from a CD, a copy of the song is placed in your iTunes Music folder (in [Your Home Folder]/Music/iTunes), so that all your imported music files are in the same location on your computer.

When you add an item to your iTunes library by dragging it to the iTunes window (or choosing File > Add to Library), a copy is also placed in the iTunes Music folder. You can change this setting so that the item appears in iTunes without being add to the Music folder. You might want to do this so that, for example, you could save video files in a location other than your hard disk.

To add files to your library without adding them to your Music folder:

Choose iTunes > Preferences, click Advanced, and then click General.

Deselect "Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library."

The next time you drag a file to your library or choose File > Add to Library, the item will appear in iTunes, but the actual file will not be copied or moved.

Tip: When dragging files to the iTunes window, you can temporarily reverse the checkbox setting by holding down the Option key while you drag.
