What is the $40 difference for?

    This is with the student discount and one is the default 2.93 and 3.06 with the same specs. Is there any difference between them besides saving money?

    so if I bought one they would charge me 2,263 regardless?

    Which is which?
    Which one (left or right) is the 2.93 => 3.06 BTO model?

    the left is the default 3.06 and the right is 2.93 both with the same specs

    No they shouldn't. If they do, take a screen shot and call to Apple and complain. Other people have noticed that glitch too

    OP, if that is the case, then Hellhammer is right, an it's a glitch in Apple Store.

    A very pleasant glitch in our favor, basically a larger discount since it gets applied to the discounts individually to each componant, rather then to the whole machine.

    For me, it resulted in a $5 upgrade to the ATI card :)
