not always, but not rarely though, living in a densely populated area, when using the phone in the public area, some careless and selfish people will make my phone drop, I've got my new iPhone for three months now and dropped to the ground once, luckily it is still working, it's now protected with a thin silicone case, but I think it's time to invest on a new case. I don't have much knowledge on accessories, what is the best and well reputed case for iPhone against drop?

Since owning the original iPhone, I have never used a case, and will probably never use one, but my wife is extremely careless with her iPhones, and has broken every iPhone she has owned from drops until I got her the Otterbox Defender case.

It adds a lot of bulk to the phone, but she doesn't care. She still drops it often, but has yet to break.

I use a BreakCabke case for my 11 Pro. I had one for my X and was very pleased with its design and feel. Also, I, let’s say, got to test its durability a couple of times. I once rode my racing bike and had it slip out my pocket at, I don’t know, 20-25kph I onto an old concrete street. The device is fine and there is only one “deep” grove in the corner of the case that hit the ground, but still not nearly deep enough to penetrate it.
I can highly recommend them.
I had a silicon case for my original SE and dropped it once on concrete. The floor penetrated the case and demanded the phone. Hard rubber > silicone any day.
