iPad catalogger

I just found an app called "Movies HD" for iPad and it is really great. I have almost 300 DVDs and I inputted the entire collection in just a few hours manually. Just enter the name, it searches on line and shows you the cover. If it is right accept it and it puts it in a bookshelf for you. You can also modify the name so you can include what ever numbering system you have. It's not 100% perfect, but pretty close. I love it.

THANKYOU!

I used this code: N7H3M3TXTXEK
This is probably the most awesome person in the forums. I've also been looking for a cataloging app, but was wary of the price of iCollect.
Awesome. thankyou.

Just an FYI. These codes all seem to be either expired or used.

Yeah, just tried to use one and got a message saying "This code has been redeemed."

Edit: Just saw that they were posted over a month ago. Might have to give this one a shot anyway.

Take a look at Bento, it has a Mac and iPhone version. If your stuff is already in Excel, you can copy and paste it in. You can add images if you like. The software is a database that is all about lists of things.

I downloaded iCollect Movies Pro for the iPhone, and I have to say I'm impressed. The cheapest, yet most accurate and versatile movie cataloger app I've tried. I wasted money on MyDVDs and DVDLister. I actually didn't know about iCollect until read about here, as it wasn't one of the apps listed when I did a search for DVD Catalog in the app store. The developer may want contact Apple about that.

Overall it's a really good app, had to reboot it a couple of times because it stopped retrieving movie info when I did a database search. Not sure if this is a glitch in the app. Perhaps even a preview for Bulk Barcode Scanning for future updates. So that once you scan a blu ray/dvd it will give you a preview of what was saved and the option to continue straight to scanning, or edit the info, then straight back to scanning. Worth the $2.99. Keep up the good work.
