So, I have really had bad luck with these F****** dongles. Or however you spell em. The first one I got was usb c to usb, then a usb to ethernet. Wouldnt work so I got a j5create dongle with three usb ports and an ethernet. That worked for about 6 months but because it was on my laptop stand above my DJ gear, it was hanging down, and that broke it. Which I think is ridiculous but that is beside the point.
Every dongle I get is crappy. I dont like spending more than 60 bucks for one because that is steep as hell honestly. Even 60 is a rip off for a piece of plastic. I still enjoy my 2016 macbook pro, dont get me wrong, this thing is a compact powerhouse and that is thanks to getting rid of the ports. It is basically a souped up macbook air.
I am soon going to get a 4k TV and convert it into a computer monitor and I will need a USB C to HDMI adapter. I don't want to spend much and I am about to need a new ethernet adapter too. So I guess I would like the ultimate dongle that has ethernet, hdmi, a few usb and maybe even a card reader.
I have found some that attach to the side of the computer and they seem pretty legit. What do you think? Links? Thanks guys.
