The Wacom Intuos line are the best tablets money can buy. Worth every cent. If you do a lot of pressure sensitive drawing you'll want the Intuos over the Graphire because the Intuos gives you double the PPI (1024 vs 512).

I use my 9x12 at work and a 4x5 comes with me in my backpack on the road. The more you use it the less you'll use a mouse. In fact I find it almost impossible to draw, path, etc. with a mouse or trackpad anymore. I can't wait until they introduce a Bluetooth Intuos.

The real fun is playing a FPS, Unreal Tournament 2004, with your tablet and pen. For those who have a tablet, try it out. Download a demo of Unreal Tournament 2004 and see what I mean.

Dude, the intuous Wacom medium sized tablets rock. You will definitely not be dissappointed.

New Intuos' sizes from Wacom

Wacom web site showed new Intuos model in different sizes (it used to be 3; now they added about 3 more different sizes).

Are Intuos models same as before except for the additional size? I am thinking about buying larger Intuos model. I have 4X6 model; but, it is rather small with 20" and 23" ACDs.

I just got Wacom Intuos 3 (9X12) for my PB. Compared with 4X6 (which I use with my iBook), this 9X12 is huge (and I like it). This 9X12 will complement Painter IX I just bought.
