iPod What is the best iPod alarm clock?

I'm looking for an iPod alarm clock...something elegant, not tacky like some out there...and one that has decent to really good sound. I find alot of them are tinny w/ no low response. I did find one that had really good sound by RCA

but the display was way way way too bright for my liking. It had a dim feature but still was annoying...it would illuminate my side of the bed enough to bug me. I had to hang something overtop the display so I could sleep. Not good enough so I returned it, unfortunately. Anyone have any recommendations?

Costco carries a few of them. I went with the iHome as it had good features, double alarm and great sound, however, it is bright even on dimmest setting - I just turned it on an angle.

Been happy with it so far.

Compatibility

Is it possible to play a song on my iPod touch as the alarm goes off or do I have to use an alarm type? Will this alarm go off connected to the BOSE sound dock?
