You can’t JB right now since A12 devices do not have a working JB yet. Unc0ver JB is working hard to resolve that.

Technically you can, I jailbroke my XS MAX A12 using Unc0ver 3.0 Beta 47.... but its a partial jailbreak because the substrate has not been updated, which basically means you cannot use Cydia or any other method to install tweaks... but you are technically able to jailbreak.

I would vote to wait before installing the partial Jailbreak. The Unc0ver team is busy with the A12 jailbreak, just be patient.
