I installed bitesms but its not defaulting to it. I'm still getting the regular messages, and I checked the settings. Is there an alternative for ios6

Maybe I'll try reinstalling. But I don't get the bitesms when I get a message, it's the default a

go to SETTINGS, MORE STUFF, HIDE MESSAGES APP set to "ON".
Then just use BiteSMS icon. You can even change the BiteSMS Icon to match imessage icon.
