Hey guys!!

Here is my situation, any help will be highly appreciated.
I am looking for a RAR archiver (don't ask why... because I used it a lot on my Windows machine) in order to create split RAR-archives.
But there is no good RAR programme for the Macs!

Yesterday I found RARMe and it has been working very well... Today it doesn't want to create archives anymore.
I switched to Rarify, which is a very simple programme but it does what it has to do. The problem is that it is too simple and I still need some options...

Could you tell me how YOU solve this problem of not having a good RAR-tool on OSX? Which programme is the best?

Thanks in advance...

I use UnRarX its free and works great for me

Seconded. Best Unrar tool on Mac OS X.

Not sure of any good ones to create Rar archives though. Most Linux applications work fine on Mac OS X if you compile them from source. Have you tried seeing what Linux apps are available?

Rarlab have rar for OSX no Gui it's terminal only.

You tell things that everybody incl. me already knows... I know that there is a shareware terminal based rar application which can be downloaded at rarlabs.com.
I am looking for a good GUI which can utilize that rar application.
Hopefully somebody will be able to help me....

You may want to make it clear when asking a question what you want unless I'm going blind and you mentioned you wanted a Gui app.

I thought I was pretty clear on that: I needed a tool to create split Rar-archives not to extract them...
Anyway, hope anybody has some ideas...

You appear to be labouring under a misapprehension about the abilities of rar,but fire ahead don't let me stop you.
