Hello, this is the set up I would like to have for my office.

I have a Mac Pro connected to a 49" ultra-wide Samsung monitor.

On the wall behind that, I want to hang 3 60" TV's on the wall in a row.... each connected to an Apple TV.

So then I have whatever I'm working on my computer..... + any tv channel + any movie + security camera feeds + maybe even a game console.... all to mix and match however I want, FROM the mouse/keyboard of my Mac (and not have to deal with any remotes or A/V receivers).

What would be the best way to do this? From a Mac, can it support 3 external displays via AirPlay? So I can just drag the content I want onto each screen as I want?

Or would it be better to use some sort of video wall software that has a simple way to selecting the video input for each screen.

I'd be interested in how this would work, too. But I'm not sure a Mac can drive 4 monitors, even over wires. Even more challenging if wireless, and/or 4K.

What Mac Pro do you have? The latest Flux Capacitor one is able to drive 3 4k displays or 6 HD displays daisy-chained over thunderbolt. Any more than that i don't think the Graphic card is able to power without serious performance issues.

So you can either drive 3 4k displays, but you'll have to ditch your samsung monitor. Or your 60" tv's will have to be HD only. Another option you could try is to buy another external graphic card. But i'm not sure if that would work as i don't think your mac can use both graphic cards at the same time. This limitation also counts for streaming via airplay because this still requires that your mac decodes the image. You cannot stream more displays than your graphical card is able to decode.

Also, i wouldn't stream the image from your mac to the tv, but i'd rather just connect the mac directly to the tv. Streaming is always laggy and of lower quality. Just use the tv's remote to switch channels.

You can always buy and connect a few apple TV's of course if you like the ease of use, but i don't think you really need it. Everything your Apple TV can do, your Mac can do as well.
