Hi, I have over 7000+ photos and videos on my iPhone 6S Plus. What is the best way to mice them to external storage at home to free up space for the phone?

Curious, why external storage, versus cloud storage?
An idea would be Google storage (auto syncs, as you take photos). Alternatively, iCloud storage.

My free iCloud is full. Got lots of unused external storages at home and have no plan to invest further on Apple products nor services at least for the next year or so. Also don’t want to store work related sensitive stuff to the cloud.

I'm using PhotoSync for that. You can transfer all your photos at once or folder by folder. New photos will be marked so you can keep them up to date.

Thanks. Besides wireless connection, what other pros does it have over iTunes?

It's very powerful. To be honest I don't use half of the possibilities it offers. Just check the description on the app store for all the features. To me it's simply the most convenient way (besides icloud) to transfer my photos and have them organized the same way they are on my phone (e.g. in specific folders).
