I don't have an external harddrive.
I don't have a time capsule
I do use an Airport Extreme (but it's my roommate's)

I use DropBox (got 11GB free space) and I have a FTP for a website that I run. Is it possible to install CrashPlan then somehow redirect the directory of a folder on my desktop to my FTP and have CrashPlan back it up to the FTP weekly?

Your best bet is a service like Carbonite or Jungle Disk. Both are going to run you about $5 per month. I personally use Carbonite.

Technically you could probably mount the FTP drive and use something like Carbon Copy Cloner or Super Duper to do scheduled incremental backups.
