I feel like it’s been the following week in the past or it was delayed for the X

nothing’s for certain until Wednesday after the event, but most of the rumors have been saying a sept 14th preorder date.

last time I preordered was for the 7+ and it was announced on a Wednesday with preorders opening two days later on that same Friday. The iPhone 8 last year was a similar story while The x launch was later due to manufacturing delays i believe
