What is the highest processor that I can upgrade my 2006 Mac mini with?

    There are 3 GHZ available now.... I've upgraded the ram, but I need at least 2.6 GHZ to operate my webcam.

    Also. my memory is 667 speed, does the CPU have to be the same?

    The fastest CPU you can put into that Mini is the Intell Core2Duo T7600 @ 2.33Ghz.

    Are you certain about that? What is the source of your knowledge on this?

    Very certain. Intell's spec page, MacRumors, www.xlr8yourmac.com, Apple Discussions, etc. That's the fastest CPU that runs with a 667Mhz bus that the chipset in the Mini can take.

    Am still looking into this... Will logitech c920 work with 2.33 GHZ? They say has got to be 2.4 to 2.6, but has anyone experiencing it working fine with 2.33?
