Numerous number of threads on this. Go into Installer > Sources > Edit > Add. Then put this URL in: "http://repo.us.to". And refresh, go under Install and go down to iPhone apps and click on the category based on your Version. Add the Mail.app AND the Mail Preferences.

That's about it.🙂

Legally you should only download it if you own an iPhone...but it will run fine on the iPod.
