what is the "offloader" Process?

Hi

Does anybody know what the "offloader" process is doing, and where it comes from..? It is always on top, always eating up all my cpu power and causing my fan to go nuts...


Please help, can't find any info about it anywhere...

I don't see that process at all. Try uninstalling Sophos and see if it goes away.

hi! Thanks. Tried it, didn't work. Turns out, it was an issue of a Codex UI, (for offloading video footage from codex harddrives)
