I’m tying to get a better understanding of the PPI quality of the iPhone XR since I’ve only owned Plus sized iPhones (with a higher PPI).

For comparisons, is the PPI and Text Size on the Watch Series 4 the same as the iPhone 8?

I currently have a Plus sized iPhone, which has a higher PPI than the 8.

The Watch still looks good to me, but I’m not sure what the PPI is. If it’s the same PPI as the 8 and same text size (for example - the text size/resolution in a text message on the watch App) than I may consider getting an iPhone XR with the 326 PPI.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, finally same as iPhone 4-8.

Of note the S0-S3 watches were 303. The difference is noticeable on S4... text is crisp where on S3 if you looked a certain way you could tell the density was lower.

Are you sure? I thought all the watches have 326 PPI.
