Some Cajun-speaking English speakers can be quite incomprehensible as well.

It's a mixture of Southern accent + French accent.

Cajun can be very difficult.

Yes it does.

As far as language goes, you can drive less than 40 miles in Scotland and think you're in a different country. What some would call a different, "dialect", is practically a different language - even to a native Scot. No kidding.

Very beautiful country, though. I've only ventured into the British countryside few times when I've visited, but it's mesmerizing. There's something fascinating about the countryside there, and I'm led to believe N. Ireland and Ireland proper have that same characteristics. Not something I've seen on my travels in other countries. It's almost as if you're living in a painting with saturated colors. The ivy though... I'd love to burn the ivy there and here. A disgusting weed that conquers everything in its path and destroys property.
