after updating apps, sometimes a grey circle stays on the application logo, there is not a problem with installing and using the application, a few weeks before google maps did the same thing, and yesterday instagram became gray iconed after updating. a restart solves the issue but i want to know the real problem. i set it as new and happened again. anybody see that issue before?

Means that the Watch is still loading the app from your phone. If it's been there a while it might have gotten "stuck" while installing...try rebooting the watch.

after installation the grey icon stays there, but it comes back to normal after restarting the watch. i search about this issue and read many more complains about that, might be a software issue but it looks like it's not fixed since watchOS 1.0

I've had that a couple of times, usually after re-pairing Watch. Deleting app and re-installing usually fixes app icon.

so,that must be a software issue, they couldn't fix it since watchOS 1.0

or a weak signal of 4G / Wifi may cause a sloppy installation to watch?

nobody knows the real answer🙂
