Coming from iPhone X, I’ve never seen what’s in yellow. What is that?

Night mode - it's a long exposure (2s refers to the 2 seconds that the exposure lasts for).

Yep. Depending on light. I think you can manually do it too.

It will turn on when the scene is dark. It tells you how long you should hold the phone steady for to get a good shot. If you tap it, you can adjust it from 1 to 3 seconds, depending on how much extra light you want to add to the shot.
