You can delete it, but if you do, it will just get created again the next time the Mac is asleep. Eidorian macrumors Penryn Apr 29, 2007 #3 It applies to desktop Macs as well. Just make sure to have some free space left over on your hard disk for virtual memory and the sleep image.
